Hot Wheels’ new Walmart Exclusive line features neon colors and higher pricing of $3.47. While some designs appeal, many collectors will selectively purchase rather than complete the series.
2023 has been an interesting year for Treasure Hunts. You can see my rankings of the Super Treasure Hunts here, and for the most part the results were not favorable. In some ways, the regulars have been the better Hunts of 2023, as far as color choices and variety in castings. This year has been…
The Jakks Pacific WWE Classic Superstars series is legendary for many reasons. It introduced an official line dedicated to legenday talents for the first time. By the time it was finished, almost all major names from the history of wrestling had been covered, and it is remembered fondly, despite some severe parts choices in some…
Christmas shopping 1993 led me to Toys R us and being absolutely floored by what I discovered: THE YELLOW CARDS. Only having the ad to go by, and no internet to use, I had no idea that the cards would be changing colors, as all before had looked the same. I grabbed all that I…

Since 2013, there has been a sub series of cars that is exclusively at Walmart known as Hot Wheels zamacs. ZAMAC is an acronym for the Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper alloy that Hot Wheels and other die-cast toy cars are made from (cast). A ZAMAC car is basically an unpainted car and/or base. These…
Starting with Elite Series 63, Mattel began including Chase Figures into the main Elite lines. The main rule of thumb: The parts cannot be changed, just deco. Usually they would be current roster talent but occasionally they would be Legends/Flashback figures. This practice of including Chase Figures into the waves continued into the Target Exclusive…
