WWE Legends Series 18 Preview

A quick preview of the Target WWE Legends Series 18, due in Spring 2023. Also, Walmart Exclusive Ruthless Aggression Series 4.

Hulk Hogan (1996), Fatu, Samu, Paul E. Dangerously

This is the best lineup of Legends in a long time. Debut figures of Dangerously and Samu, and the first non-Rikishi version of Fatu, already made this a strong lineup. Adding in a 1996 Hulk Hogan from WCW puts Legends series 18 over the top. As a bonus, the Headshrinkers Samu and Fatu get us 2 names closer to completing the original Hasbro WWF lineup. I have called for these two before, so the news of their impending arrival was exciting. Also of note, this is the first Legends lineup to feature two chase figures.

1996 Hulk Hogan from WCW. There have been rumors of a WCW Hogan showing up, so this made sense. It’s also very close to being the Iconic Bash at the Beach 1996 Attire, when he helped form the nWo.

Walmart Ruthless Aggression Series 4:

Undertaker, Eric Bischoff, Stone Cold Steve Austin
Eric Bischoff 2002 Carded
Stone Cold Carded
Undertaker Carded

The Verdict:

Ruthless Aggression is a mixed bag, as the Bischoff is fantastic, but the Undertaker and Stone Cold are very average figures. This is a lineup that Jakks would have done in the early 2000s, so Mattel is accurate with their Homage. Legends Series 18 is a home run, and all 6 figures are must haves. We should be seeing these by the Spring of 2023.

Until then, Happy hunting!
