Here come the Hot Wheels Neon Speeders

Hot Wheels new Walmart Exclusive line features neon color schemes, which illuminate under UV lighting. These came with some sticker shock, as they were priced at $3.47, which is higher than most special Walmart series. The new way Hot Wheels is doing premiums and special series places these in the silver tier, and gives them the higher price point.

The Verdict:

This line is okay. I won’t be picking up all of them, due to fantasy or uninteresting castings, but I will pick and choose some here and there. There are some very popular castings being used, so they move fast, and the remainder tends to hang around the pegs. I’ll continue to pick up the ones that are eye catching, but I don’t see myself being a completist here.
