In 2016, Mattel revealed that they were coming out with a “retro” line, which was a unspoken tribute to the Iconic 1990s WWF Hasbro figures. These figures are in the same scale and similar look to the Hasbro figures. Side by side, they are a near perfect match. Mattel has released 10 waves of Retros to date, and the line is currently “on hiatus.” Most of the figures are of current stars, but some of them are in an older look, such as Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder.
