Why Mattel Needs to Embrace the New Generation, now Mattel has released the Ruthless Aggression Elite Collection, and there is the upcoming Monday Night Wars set, but what about the New Generation? The New Generation era began with the departure of Hulk Hogan in 1993, and ran through 1996 with the oncoming Attitude era. There…
In 2022, Mattel launched the Ruthless Aggression Elite Series, achieving critical acclaim and sales success, with potential for more waves featuring notable wrestlers.
As seen on a previous post, the WCW Galoob line was a fun, but short lived series starting in 1991. These were a nice compliment to the WWF Hasbros, as they were the same size. The difference was that the Galoobs had no articulation, and were stuck in a specific pose. Still, they were fun…
My recent pickups: The rundown This is an overview of the WWE Legends that I have picked up from the period of Christmas, 2020 to 3/1/2021. It’s been a good run, and there are a couple of pieces I’m still looking for, while waiting on the next batch of WWE Legends to start hitting. From…
The Monday Night War was a great time to be a wrestling fan. I have a breakdown of the whole line here. This is a great series that is focused on the 1995-2001 time period when Monday Night Raw and WCW Monday Nitro ran head to head on Monday Nights. There are eight main waves…

Ultra Hots Wave 3 continues the pattern of all metal, spectraflame paint, and Ultra Hot wheels with a flame design. The majority of the modern Ultra Hots have been classic muscle cars, with a couple of exceptions. So far, we’ve avoided…
Previously, I made a post about the Legends I want to see made. This time, I want to fill some holes in the line specific to certain events and times in the WWF or wrestling history. To keep it concise, I will only go through the end of 1992. Honorable mentions: Bad News Brown, Ronnie…
I really enjoy the Ultra Hots line. Maybe it’s the store exclusive part, but I enjoy completing sub-series like these. This particular set has produced some good and some bad, but these are always interesting. Trying out a new grading system here. If the car is good, it gets a point, and if not, it…
In 2020, I’ve really been concentrating on Target, as they have been more up to date on the newest cases of Hot Wheels, and generally get stock in more frequently than Walmart. My goal was to have the Super Treasure Hunt for A, B, C, and D Case before the end of 2020. I found…
