Worst to best: The Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunts of 2021

2021 Supers, The Top 5:

2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Rank: 5
H Case

Number 5 of the 2021 Supers is the Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500. This car is striking in gold and it fills the Mustang segment for this year. A solid entry for the year.

’68 Mercury Cougar
Rank: 4
L Case

Up next at Number Four is the 68 Mercury Cougar. This one would be higher if it wasn’t a repeated Super from 2019. There are plenty of castings to use without repeating things. What saves this one is the amazing color scheme and flame details. I’m a sucker for green, especially in Spectraflame green. The rims are on point as well.

Shelby Cobra
Rank: 3
Q Case

This car just appeared today (5/31) and I knew immediately it would be ranked high on my list. The 15th and final entry for the 2021 Supers in Q case is a beautiful Spectraflame Red design that is clean and classic.

Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo
Rank: 2
A Case

2021 started off with a bang with this guy, being the second blue Nissan to be a gorgeous Super Treasure Hunt, an excellent job with a nice dark blue that pops, with chrome rims that stand out as well. This one is worthy of leading the year off.

’49 Ford F1
Rank: 1
N Case

When I saw this model, I was in awe. The beautiful purple color, chrome rims, and classic hot rod paint striping all add up to a fantastic super. One of the best. For this year, it is the best.

In Conclusion:

Any year with this level of quality entries in the Super Category is a good year, and 2021 is no exception. I hope to have all of these in my collection soon, as of this writing (5/31/21), I have A, B, E, and G in my collection. It’s been a tough year, and I have some work to do.

Happy Hunting!
