Hot Wheels new Walmart Exclusive line features neon color schemes, which illuminate under UV lighting. These came with some sticker shock, as they were priced at $3.47, which is higher than most special Walmart series. The new way Hot Wheels is doing premiums and special series places these in the silver tier, and gives them the higher price point.

The Verdict:
I won’t be picking up the entire line. Some of the fantasy or less interesting castings just don’t appeal to me, but I’ll definitely be grabbing the ones that catch my eye. With several fan-favorite models in the mix, the best ones tend to move quickly, while others linger on the pegs. This isn’t a completist line for me, but as long as Hot Wheels keeps throwing in standout castings with that neon glow, I’ll keep picking up the hits.
