Yesterday afternoon I got a tip from a Collector Buddy who let me know a bin was on the way to a local Walmart. Unfortunately, I had to work that evening at 6pm. The good news: The store closes at 8:30 now due to the Covid-19 situation.
When I got off at 6am, I decided to head there and see if I had a chance at getting this bin. I was actually nervous that other collectors would be waiting on it as well.
Once I arrived, I had to wait about 30 minutes before the store opened. I’m watching for signs of collectors gathering but none arrived. I was relieved that I was getting into the store right away.
I headed to the section and did my customary scan of the area: any signs of new freight, any bins, and is there anything on the pegs. Then I saw a cart with boxes, and found a small case with M2 on it.
Needless to say I cracked that case open and found something that I’ve never been able to find before: a Raw Chase, 1/250!!
I could hardly believe it.
I could hardly believe it, and now I was determined to find this bin. I found a clerk who has been helpful in the past and asked him to check on it. After a few minutes, he came back with one box, a 2020 J case. He explained that since his toy manager wasn’t in, he couldn’t bring it all out. I thanked him and went through the box excitedly.
This is the perfect blog for anyone who wishes to understand this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a subject which has been written about for ages. Great stuff, just wonderful!
Thank you! I’m always adding new content so please keep checking us out.
