Since 2013, there has been a sub series of cars that is exclusively at Walmart known as Hot Wheels zamacs. ZAMAC is an acronym for the Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper alloy that Hot Wheels and other die-cast toy cars are made from (cast). A ZAMAC car is basically an unpainted car and/or base. These cars are released six times a year in groups of three, making 18 per year. As of today, I have the complete 2013-2021 set and most of 2022 and 2023. Today’s article is the ones I feel are the best Zamacs. There is also a 2004 Toys R Us set that you can read about here .

My criteria for choosing the Best Zamacs:
- Personal tastes of vehicles
- No Fantasy Cars
- Muscle Cars
- Trucks
- Low deco
- Unique deco
While this is just a random sampling of the best Zamacs, I am a fan of the entire line. I have strived to collect all of them. It has become more difficult to track these down in 2022 and 2023, but they are still out there. 2023 only offered 12 models in the line so it remains to be seen what the future holds. However, I am looking forward to the 2024 Hot Wheels Zamacs.
