A pleasant surprise today, as a check in on Target resulted in the arrival of 2021 L case.
A collector buddy told me he checked his Target and there was L case there. I checked my nearest two Targets with no luck, as part of my routine. A helpful stock update email arrived at 11:00am, which told me that one of the stores I had been to received new case(s).
In short order, I got back to that store and the cases had already been dumped. Immediately, I began picking up cars and loading them into a basket. By the time I was done with the bin and pegs, this was the result:

My standard practice with fresh bins is to pick up a few multiples of cars that I am interested in, and then go back and choose the ones with the best card and tampo. This is time consuming, so I’m not always able to do it, but I prefer this method. Cards with bends and smudges on the tampos get tossed back.

I had to do a quick search on hwtreasure to identify the regular treasure hunt, which I found four of. The car that I believed to be the Super, the 68 Mercury Cougar was there, but so was the Audi R8 Spyder, which was supposed to be in M case! Unfortunately, there was no super of either version this time.
The Target red editions were plentiful, and I was able to choose the best of the bunch. In the following pictures you can see what I picked up:

When I left, the pegs were overflowing:
