The Unforgettable Impact of Jakks Classic Superstars: My Favorites

The worst of the line:

Series 28 Undertaker: That whole series was trash, as Jakks was coming to an end with WWE.
Repo Man: An anticipated but goofy gimmick was ruined by an odd face scan and molded on coat.
Series 16 Sycho Sid: A decent figure but the boots are way too short, no kneepads (fixable).
Stone Cold and the Rock 2 pack: pure laziness here when there were better uses of the limited 2 pack slots.
Series 12 Nasty Boy Jerry Sags: His partner was a great figure but this one was taken down by the molded coat.
Series 1 Undertaker: Used old parts and Undertaker has never worn white, ever.
Series 1 Andre the Giant: Used an old Big Show body in an iconic lazy Jakks move.
RVD and Tazz: another lazy 2 pack with guys who never had much history together other than being in the same company.
Undertaker and Paul Bearer: Bearer is HUGE compared to ‘Taker, due to Jakks available parts.
Series 23 Big Bossman: a straight up embarrassment for a figure with the Untucked shirt that was tucked in the back, missing deco, and just all bad. One of the two worst Classics ever.
Series 9 Godfather: The other of the two worst Classics ever, this figure is nothing like how Godfather was famous for looking. The only plus is the nice cloth coat, but the attire is awful and was only from one appearance.

In Conclusion:

I loved the Classic Superstars line. I had 85% of them MOC at one point and at least that many loose. I will be posting about this line again at some point.

Happy Hunting!
