Monday Night War Elites: the newest Walmart fiasco

Series 1:

Found Series 1 in the wild
The full series 1 with Build-a-figure Lex Luger
Series 1 arrived on Wrestlemania shippers.
Fake Diesel, Kevin Nash, Rey Mysterio, Triple H

Fortunately, I was able to find all of these in one round.

The complete series 2 with build-a-figure Teddy Long

Series 3, brings us Chases:

Series 3 proved to be incredibly difficult to obtain, I finally managed all four through a combination of many, many store trips, and luckily getting Stevie and RVD from the Walmart site. I did find a Blue Booker T, but no Stevie.

Monday Night War Elites Series 4:

Series 4 was another difficult set to obtain. I was able to grab Austin first, then Hennig and DDP with light jeans. Bossman was the harder one to find, but eventually the Walmart site came through for me. I never spotted the dark jeans DDP in person.

Series 5:

The story continues with Series 5. I had all of these on pre-order, waiting patiently. I began to find them one by one, starting with Razor Ramon, then Lita, and the regular version of Syxx. I was able to cancel those pre-orders. Warrior eventually arrived as planned, thankfully. I’ve yet to see the chase version of Syxx. Update: The chase version was released in the Vault Series.

Series 6:

Series 6. Not pictured: Chase Booker, Hardcore Hak. This wave came with Golga as the Build-a-Figure.

Series 6 came together one by one, but not without complications.

  • I had preordered Bulldog, Booker, and Kane when the preorder window opened.
  • Then the fateful email came, where Kane and Booker were cancelled, and Bulldog was delayed.
  • Bulldog did eventually arrive.
  • For a very brief window, I was able to order Booker and wildly enough, they sent a chase version.
  • With a lot of word that the annual Wrestlemania shippers were hitting, I picked up the pace on checking stores and was able to bring home Kane and eventually Booker.
  • I had to admit defeat and order Hak on eBay, although I did spot him in a store (of course).

Greatest Hits? Yep

Series 1:

  • Shawn Michaels
  • Triple H
  • Eddie Guerrero
  • Bam Bam Bigelow
  • Vincent (Build-a-Figure)

Series 2:

  • Ken Shamrock
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin
  • Bret Hart
  • Diamond Dallas Page
  • Gorilla Monsoon (Build-a-Figure)

The two Greatest Hits series so far were polar opposites in terms of availability. For Series 1, I found HHH and Michaels very quickly, with Bigelow in a short time later. As of today (1/16/26), I still have not seen an Eddie in the wild. For Series 2, they flooded stores, and poor Bret hung around on shelves for months. I found that set in May 2025, and Bret was still available in store at Christmas.

Series 7:

Series 7 has arrived. This one takes us back to Summerslam shippers, and it was a waiting game on the store to put them out. Fortunately, I found Lawler and Albert during a routine grocery run, and then Muta and Hogan when my other closest store put out two shippers one morning. I had these on preorder, so it remains to be seen if that gets fulfilled. Update: They weren’t.

Series 8 was an improvement for the most part. These came and went fairly quickly, but I was able to complete the group in short order. Undertaker was first, then Pillman/Bischoff/Shark, then shortly after the chase Shark. Pillman is one of the best elites of 2025.

Series 9:

Series 9 was a lot easier to obtain, but they did not hang around for long. I managed to pick these guys up within a week of each other. An important detail: no chases from here forward. In the stores I frequent, I have not seen them again after I found them the one time each to purchase.

Series 10: And we are back to the fiasco. These so far have only been able to order on Walmart’s website. The problem is, they only appear randomly, and only for a few minutes before going back to Sold Out. There have been a few sightings in store on social media, but these have been online for me. I managed to snag Sid in one pass, and then Piper and Blackman with a 3am check of the app. Update: Mattel Creations made the save, and I was able to obtain Chyna and complete X-Pac this way. No sign of these in store yet, but mission accomplished.
Update 2: These arrived with the Wrestlemania 32 shipper, at the beginning of April 2026.

Bringing us right to this line, which hit stores at the exact same time:

Greatest Hits Series 3:

GH3 was actually the easiest for me to obtain. Eddie Guerrero comes 2 per case, and the rest are 1 per case. A contact found Eddie for me, and the following the day, Ms. Keck Collects found a full set, so we were in business just like that.

Series 11:

Series 12:

If you’re trying to keep your Monday Night War Elites collection complete, this is one of those lines that rewards persistence more than anything else. Between Walmart exclusivity, chase variants, and unpredictable restocks, completing every series from Series 1 through the newest waves isn’t just about buying figures, it’s about timing, patience, and a little bit of luck. Hopefully this checklist helps you track what you have, what you’re still missing, and what’s coming next as the line continues to grow. Whether you’re collecting for the nostalgia of the Attitude Era and WCW Monday Nitro rivalry or just building out a display of WWE Elite figures, this is one of the most unique and ambitious WWE figure lines to date and it’s far from finished.
