For 2023 , The Hot Wheels Target Retro Exclusive will be Ultra Hots. This follows previous Target exclusives Retros, Decades, and Flying Customs. The Ultra Hots are a throwback to the early 80s. All cars feature Spectraflame-style paintjobs, and are a tribute to the original Ultra Hots from 1984.

The Breakdown:
My Favorites here are the El Camino and Honda Civic, the dark blues with flames are both sharp and they are solid casting choices for this line. The green on the Volkswagen is beautiful, but the casting is the worst of the 8 here. The purple Nissan is also sharp.
