Cool Classics: The Breakdown
Good things:
- Spectrafrost paint is spectacular, and makes these cars pop. Especially since it hasn’t been used since.
- These were metal on metal, solid cars, very little plastic to see here.
- Some models used here have not been used anywhere else, or very infrequently.
Bad Things:
- Every series Hot Wheels makes, there is a junker in there somewhere to foul up the lineup. Astro Funk and Amphicar, I’m looking at you.
- Some of the choices were almost too dull, some more popular models could have been used.
- The line ended way too soon, giving way to the Real Riders/Redlines series.
