In 2022, Mattel released the Ruthless Aggression Elite Series, exclusively at Walmart. For most of it’s run, it was a fiasco to obtain the 18 figures, across 6 waves into 2023. But the set was a critical and sales success, and I think there could easily be three more waves with talent that is available and to help fill up our Ruthless Aggression Rosters:
Series 7:
- Kurt Angle
- Triple H
- Carlito
Two top guys and a debut here, with Kurt Angle from his 2003 title run, HHH from Wrestlemania 20, and Carlito from his debut period. All three would be home runs and easily made by Mattel.
Series 8:
- Paul Heyman
- Eddie Guerrero
- Cody Rhodes
The Advocate for Brock Lesnar/Smackdown General Manager era Paul Heyman is sorely needed. Mattel made an Ultimate Edition Eddie Guerrero, but an elite from 2003 when he was United States champion would be awesome. Also, a debut Cody Rhodes would be a big hit with fans.
Series 9:
- Teddy Long
- William Regal
- Kane
We definitely need a GM Teddy Long to go along with Eric Bischoff, and to send The Undertaker after people. William Regal is a no-brainer, as he was a mainstay in the RA era. And finally, we have Kane, who was a constant as well during the era, although we are getting him in the Summerslam 2024 set.
For most Legends collectors, they focus either on the Hulkamania/Golden era of 1985-1993, or the Attitude Era of 1996-2001. For fans such as myself who have been here all along, we need more Ruthless Aggression era and New Generation era waves.
