WWE Elite Legends Reveals June 2021

With San Diego Comicon coming up in three weeks, our friends at Mattel dropped a few upcoming releases as a teaser to the SDCC panel. Of course I’m here for Legends figures, so here are the Legends reveals for June 2021.

Legends Reveals: Collectors edition

The Warlord is presented in his final version. Coming in his Powers of Pain attire, this figure is fantastic. He will be included with Elite Series 87, and should be available exclusively at Walmart.

Legends Reveals: Series 12

The highly anticipated Legends series 12 from Target has some fire in it’s lineup. This wave features:

  • Rowdy Roddy Piper from Royal Rumble 1992
  • Billy Gunn in WCW Invasion D-Generation X attire
  • Kevin Nash in nWo attire circa 1997
  • (JYD) Junkyard Dog in red, with a chase version in blue

Rowdy Roddy Piper in his Royal Rumble 1992 attire. While this is my favorite era of Piper, this figure is a subpar version compared to the Hall of Fame figure from 2018. The face scan is lacking. In fact, Roddy might be the weakest of the bunch here.

On the other side of the coin, this Kevin Nash is fantastic. Great attire, a new iconic shirt, and an excellent face scan. This is my most wanted from this wave. More nWo figures are always welcome, and this will go well with Scott Hall from Series 11.

Billy Gunn comes in Series 12 in the Camo attire from the night D-Generation X “invaded” WCW in 1998. This figure is a great representation of that night. The camo attire can be removed and he is in his classic New Age Outlaws attire. The only flaw in this figure, as with all Gunn figures so far, is that the boots are too short.

The Junkyard Dog makes his Legends series return, and he is the the chase edition this round. The main version comes in classic red attire, with chain and Harley Race’s crown, while the chase version is in an alternate blue attire. JYD has had some excellent figures, and these are no exception.

In Conclusion

These figures will be hitting in early fall, and I will definitely be on the lookout. On another note, San Diego Comic Con is July 23, and there is expected to be a big reveal for the next few waves of WWE figures. I will definitely be providing an update at that time.
